Hello! I'm Sam and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my corner of the internet. I am a design consultant based in Norwich, with a deep passion for all things design. I believe we all hold the power of creativity, it's just knowing where to start!

I will hold your hand throughout your design projects, pointing you in the right direction and offering advice at different stages. Whether your project is large or small, I've got your back. We can create a new style together or I can help you to enhance your existing ones, starting a project from scratch or just helping you with the final details.

My own journey has been shaped by many design career paths, starting with my degree in Interior Architecture, I moved into exhibition design, side stepped into residential design, specialising in kitchen and living spaces, picking up graphic design, visual communications, and web design along the way. I have helped to set up and run new businesses, and have assisted in elevating the prestige and efficiency in other existing businesses.

About Me

A design consultant is a professional who provides expert advice, guidance, and solutions in various areas of design to individuals and businesses. Creative 'out of the box' thinking can be used across many different applications, including clever storage solutions at home to commercial business solutions, branding and website design. My primary role is to assist you in achieving your design objectives by offering creative insights, strategic recommendations, and practical solutions tailored to your specific needs and requirements. Specialising in graphic design, digital design, interior architecture and business solutions, I work independently to help you solve design-related problems, enhance your brand image, and achieve your desired outcomes through effective and creative design solutions.

Unlike interior design, which primarily deals with the decorative aspects of a space, interior architecture goes beyond surface-level aesthetics to address the structural elements, spatial flow, and integration of various systems within a building. As a qualified interior architect, I blend elements of architecture, interior design, and engineering to craft spaces that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional, comfortable, and tailored to your specific needs. I create, restore, and re-adapt interior spaces so they can work harder for you. Do you have an existing space that may need some TLC or repurposing so it fits better with your lifestyle?  Do you want an extension but not sure how it'll join to your existing space, I can help you to integrate them, making them 'flow' with your existing space, giving you more useable space and saving you money.

Branding involves defining a company's values, personality, messaging, and visual elements such as logos, colour palettes, typography, and imagery. I aim to create cohesive and memorable experiences for customers, helping to differentiate your brand from competitors, building loyalty and recognition among your target audience. While web design focuses on the visual and functional aspects of a website, branding encompasses the broader strategic efforts to establish and maintain a distinct identity and presence in the market. They are often closely intertwined, as the design of a website plays a crucial role in conveying and reinforcing your brand's identity and message to your audience. After setting up and running several small businesses of my own, adding commercial design to my skill set was an easy side step. I have designed and built websites, created brand profiles, and researched a variety of different business systems to aid communication and productivity.

Kitchens have become an integral part of our homes and living spaces. A hard-working space, combining cooking, dining and lounging, a fine balance of practicality and, of course, style. A well-designed kitchen maximizes efficiency, usability, and comfort while also reflecting the personal tastes and lifestyle of the homeowner. I can help you decide on your ideal kitchen style, from traditional to modern, and be the bridge between you and your contractors creating a functional and visually beautiful space. As a qualified interior architect, and with 20 years of specific experience with kitchen design, I am uniquely qualified to use spacial planning, alongside practical design ideas, to make the absolute best use of your kitchen space.
